Petition: http://foxattacks.com/obama The internet is buzzing with Billy boy shoving an Obama staffer this weekend, thanks in large part to our friends at Crooks and Liars. It's been fun watching O'Reilly make a spectacle of himself, traveling to New Hampshire to beg Barack to come on his show. Jonathan and Bill, our FOX Attacks duo, rushed in to do a video showing why Obama is so right to remain strong and principled in refusing to go on. See the video and laugh out loud at his invoking the Constitution, I kid you not!

http://foxattacks.com/ Fox has an awful record of airing bigoted views and highly problematic framing around race issues. If you think others should see this video: 5 star it! Add it to your favorites! Send it to your friends! Help it climb up the YouTube rankings!

Open Letter: http://foxattacks.com/senators The bullies at FOX are at it again. This time, they are trying to get Senator Obama and Senator Edwards to buckle to their threats and accusations. The senators are standing tall, tough and strong. We must encourage them to resist the name-calling and intimidation and refuse to legitimize the propaganda network. Sign the open letter: http://foxattacks.com/senators

http://foxattacks.com/ The laughter could have rocked a city block when we at BNF heard that FOX was launching a business channel called FBN, an anagram of BNF! Since we are among the precious few who have watched FOX business shows, from Neil Cavuto to the "Cost of Freedom," we know what a joke the so-called business coverage is. Melanie at the News Hounds has documented the coverage for years. Paris Hilton, strippers, sex diaries -- all critical business functions. Last week, they put a teaser video on their website. It was time to get to business and make our own improved version.

http://foxattacks.com/vets Bill O'Reilly refuses to apologize for his repeated assertions that there are no homeless vets. Bill never served in the military, and he makes more than $9 million a year. It is unsurprising that he's out of touch with the plight of the 200,000 homeless veterans living in America. So we found them, we videotaped them, and we brought a few to O'Reilly's doorstep in NYC. Then he refused to even let them in the building, and proceeded to mock them on national television... for not watching FOX News! Homeless people frequently don't have cable, Bill. Something you might learn if you talked to them. America's veterans do NOT deserve to be insulted and humiliated any longer. Sign the open letter demanding an apology from O'Reilly, and pass it on to your friends. http://foxattacks.com/vets

http://foxattacks.com Did you see Barack Obama go on The O'Reilly Factor last night—right into the belly of the beast? While we didn't want Obama to appear on FOX initially, he wisely chose the same night John McCain delivered his RNC speech (the same night FOX received some of its highest ratings) to make an appearance. Talk about stealing the GOP's thunder! Obama was no doubt trying to appeal to conservative voters, since 88% of FOX viewers voted Republican in 2004. But FOX won't let their conservative base go without a fight. That's why O'Reilly needled and interrupted Obama, trying to get him to simplify many of his answers—a far cry from the softballs O'Reilly lobbed at many prominent Republicans like Rudy Giuliani in the past. And that's why FOX has been attacking Obama with the same relentless smear tactics that they used against John Kerry four years ago. Watch them use the exact same attacks. Don't let FOX repeat its history of distortions. Send this video to everyone you know! And get a copy to networking sites like Digg as soon as possible. Make sure everyone knows that FOX is always willing to distort, slander, and smear—whatever it takes to advance their conservative agenda.

Teach O'Reilly a lesson: http://foxattacks.com/kids Digg: http://digg.com/political_opinion/WARNING_Bill_O_Reilly_wants_to_father_your_kid It's back-to-school time! Parents are starting to shop for their children's school supplies: notebooks, pencils, crayons, and of course, Bill O'Reilly's book, "The O'Reilly Factor for Kids." Talk about one of these things being NOT like the others! O'Reilly thinks he can teach our children proper behavior, and we can't think of a worse father figure than an angry, hate-filled shock jock notorious for telling guests to "Shut up!" We wondered what would happen if kids read O'Reilly's book and then saw the real O'Reilly for themselves. So we put together a video to illustrate O'Reilly's duplicity. O'Reilly's bullying antics show he never learned the lessons the rest of us were taught in school. Tell us what your teachers taught you that O'Reilly should have learned about how to be a responsible grown-up, or what your kids' teachers have taught them. Then, send this video to all the teachers, parents, parents-to-be, and anyone who has contact with kids. Teach O'Reilly a lesson: http://foxattacks.com/kids It's bad enough O'Reilly spews hate-filled lies on his shows to grown-up audiences, do we really want our children to be exposed to the same behavior? Do we really want this angry adult influencing our kids? While we only subjected the kids in our video to a few minutes of O'Reilly in order to prevent permanent damage, imagine the harm his children's book could do!

Update: The feud with Robert Greenwald and Bill O'Reilly is explained on FOX Attacks ( http://foxattacks.com ). Greenwald will go to bat against FOX News especially since Karl Rove joined the news channel. Now we'll talk about "FOX + Rove = Sabotoge Elections". This will be posted in the coming days. Also I will post the video explaining the feuds O'Reilly have with a long list: 1) Rosie O'Donnell 2) John Edwards 3) Keith Olbermann 4) Robert Greenwald, Media Matters for America and Daily Kos 5) Ludacris and Snoop Dogg 6) ACLU 7) Al Franken 8) David Letterman 9) Neal Boortz 10) Hillary Clinton, Ron Paul, Barack Obama and John McCain My take on former North Carolina Senator John Edwards and FOX News pundit Bill O'Reilly. These guys are in a huge feud over the comments made by O'Reilly about homeless veterans while talking to liberal talk radio pundit Ed Schultz. Robert Greenwald and United States veterans have taken offense to the statements and went after O'Reilly. (See http://foxattacks.com/vets ) While appearing on David Letterman, John Edwards explained his feud with O'Reilly. The next day, O'Reilly stated that he will stop at nothing to "finish off" John Edwards once and for all. John and Elizabeth Edwards has responded to attacks from Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter, you think it's right to go after O'Reilly? Bill O'Reilly draws conservatives, and he will try his best to take the conservative vote from Edwards. So what your take on the situation. It's time to go the distance, we have to speak out and saying something. We want to get the message out there to stand up against the media and bullies. Whether it's Bill O'Reilly or someone else, it's time to stand up. Note: Each candidate will get some commentary during the final weeks leading up to the Super Tuesday primary. I take no sides in the election. I vote on issues, not principle. Please be civil to those who don't agree with your views or your candidate. And lastly, no spamming. It's time for change. Do or Die. Thanks for viewing and post your comments at the bottom.

http://foxattacks.com/blog/36988-want-to-know-what-happens-when-we-sing-fox-s-praises It is deeply detrimental to the longterm interests of democracy when Democrats praise and support FOX News. This would be true regardless of who that Democrat is, but it's particularly heinous when Terry McAuliffe, the former chairman of the Democratic National Committee, is singing their praises. "Let me congratulate FOX," McAuliffe said this past week, "because you were the first ones to call [the Pennsylvania primary] for Hillary Clinton." McAuliffe, who is also chairing Clinton's Presidential committee, actually echoed the FOX mantra by calling them "fair and balanced." What is so dangerous about McAuliffe's praise is that FOX is now using his words as a TV ad to prove just how fair and balanced they are. Jonathan put together this video as a reminder of how exceedingly unfair and imbalanced FOX actually is. These are just few gems to let McAuliffe and others know that FOX is the foe, has always been the foe, and will continue to be the foe of accurate reporting. Please help us in this quest by sharing what you think have been the worst FOX moments. We will send the list to McAuliffe as a firm reminder that he must not applaud FOX. Yours, Robert Greenwald, and the Brave New Team http://foxattacks.com/blog/36988-want-to-know-what-happens-when-we-sing-fox-s-praises

Petition: http://foxattacks.com/decency Most of you are aware, and most likely have been for a while, that under the guise of "news" Fox has offered its viewers a steady stream of bias pertaining to social and political issues since its inception in 1996. From attacking Black America to pushing for war with Iran, from demonizing bloggers to distorting environmental issues, theirs is quite a record of achievement in propagating propaganda that is neither fair nor balanced. Today we have a surprise (well at least it surprised all of us at Brave New Films). Thanks to the terrific work of the News Hounds, we bring you Fox and ole' Billy O'Reilly attacking decency. Yes, you read that right. The self-righteous, pompous, bloviators who deign to lecture on how we should behave in our personal lives, are in fact exploiting women, pandering to the lowest common denominator and pushing smut out on the airwaves on a daily basis! And this will definitely raise your hackles. YOU ARE PAYING FOR THIS! Yes, you read that right too. So watch the video and pass it along to as many on your email list as possible. We simply must let the FCC know we are mad as hell about having their smut in our homes and as being forced to pay for it. And we're simply not going to take it anymore.

Petition: http://foxattacks.com/virus The FOX smears are continuing and we need to stop them from spreading to the rest of the media. Watch FOX's laughably inaccurate distortions, as they smear Barack Obama on everything from the economy to race to patriotism to flag pins. In the coming weeks, FOX will escalate its gross misrepresentations of Obama, and we know from painful past experience that some in the corporate media will spread FOX's canards by presenting them as fact. We must stop the spread. Now that you've had the chance to watch we need you to make sure everyone else sees the distortions as we work to stop them. Sign our petition and demand FOX stop serving up blatant lies for the rest of the media to swallow. It's critical that you send it to everyone you know, get it to your local newspapers and TV stations, and post it on blogs and networking sites. This is a game show because satires sometimes can be a powerful weapon. Let's use it to make sure the media know that when it comes to Obama, The FOX Is Wrong!

http://foxattacks.com/ April 25, 2008 Yes, that's right — that's really me, DJK (aka Jonathan Kim) on MSNBC's Verdict with Dan Abrams! It's my first television appearance, and I have to tell you that it was a very strange experience. But more on that later. The topic of discussion was whether it was a good idea for Barack Obama to give in to Chris Wallace's Obama clock and appear on FOX News Sunday on April 27. As you can see, I think I was probably the most adamant about the fact that Obama really has little to gain from "addressing the FOX audience" since FOX will dissect every possible aspect of the interview to extract every possible microgram of negativity conceivable. And FOX is perfectly willing to lie to do it. And Abrams pointed out, Obama is legitimizing FOX as a news source, which is exactly what allowed FOX to gain the influence it has — by maintaining the appearance of a news network when they are really a republican propaganda machine. The best way for Obama to turn his bad decision into a positive is if he goes after FOX and shows democrats and the world that he is, in fact, "in touch" with what democrats and most of the world knows — that FOX is a republican propaganda machine. He'll earn more respect of his base and show that he understands the role that FOX plays in legitimizing republican talking points. He'll show that he knows how the system works. And if there's any fear that he might lose votes by alienating FOX voters, remember this — in the 2004 election, 88% of FOX viewers voted for George W. Bush while only 7% voted for John Kerry. Even white evangelicals, gun owners, Iraq war supporters, and conservatives didn't produce margins like that.

Petition: http://foxattacks.com/michelle You're not going to believe what FOX is up to now—we could hardly believe it ourselves. Not only are they smearing Michelle Obama with racist stereotypes, but then they offer a feeble apology that they believe gives them the right to slander her again. That's what happened when FOX called Michelle and Barack Obama's fist bump a "terrorist fist jab," apologized, and then less than a week later referred to Michelle Obama as Barack's "Baby Mama." FOX's long history of racism is nothing new, but it has been particularly egregious when it comes to their coverage of the Obamas. Racism and fearmongering have no place in our country or its politics, despite what FOX would have you believe. That's why we put together this video, FOX Attacks Michelle Obama. We cannot allow FOX's heinous smears and scare tactics to continue. Sign our petition and stop FOX from injecting racism, prejudice, and fear into our political dialogue. Then, send it to all your friends and family members for them to sign as well. And spread it on sites like Digg to create an uproar. We cannot allow FOX to make politics about stereotypes, misinformation, and flat-out dishonesty. Not now. Not ever.

http://foxattacks.com/ Bill O'Reilly is attacking homeless veterans.. patriots who have served their country only to be humiliated by multi-millionaire draft dodgers like Bill O'Reilly. Demand O'Reilly apologize to homeless veterans for his continued disrespect for our nation's heroes. Heroes like Fletcher C. Hicklen.

http://foxattacks.com/vets To Bill O'Reilly: Homeless veterans exist. I met some. BOR was either ignorant to or consciously ignoring a recent study from the National Alliance to End Homelessness (using data from the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Census Bureau) that found "In 2006, approximately 195,827 veterans were homeless on a given night — an increase of 0.8 percent from 194,254 in 2005. More veterans experience homelessness over the course of the year. We estimate that 336,627 were homeless in 2006."

http://foxattacks.com/decency Our recent video "FOX Attacks! Decency" was the #1 story on MSNBC's Countdown with Keith Olbermann tonight (11/12). Director Robert Greenwald discusses the issues raised in the video with Keith Olbermann.

http://foxattacks.com/iran Fox News clips about how Iran helps the Shia, Sunni, Al Qaeda, and the Taliban simultaneously.

http://foxattacks.com/vets For weeks, Bill O'Reilly had been teasing that he would make a "big announcement" on Feb. 8 for homeless veterans. But all he announced is that he would monitor the creation of a new GI bill that hasn't even been drafted yet and would harass congressmen who vote against it. BOR acts like updating the GI bill is his own original idea. In other words, BOR, who had previously said that politicians can't help homeless vets, will help homeless vets by monitoring the creation of legislation that could take months to be written, moved through committees, altered, amended, and voted on, then will take even longer to be implemented since it will call for a complete overhaul of the Veterans Administration — and that's if everything somehow goes well in the middle of an election year with a lame duck president and a divided Congress. Plus, the congressmen who will be most opposed to it will surely be republicans who will claim that it is too expensive. So BOR is claiming to help homeless vets by monitoring legislation that will take years to have any substantive effect. There are vets who are homeless RIGHT NOW. They can't afford to wait. And they shouldn't have to.
