At age 38 and 315 days, MJ shattered the record for the oldest player to score 50+. The game prior had MJ scoring just 6 due to injury which stopped his NBA-record double-figures scoring streak at 866 games. MJ came out to make up for that here. It should be mentioned that MJ's injury limited him to just 2 full-game scrimmages the entire year in practice. One must wonder, without the injury, what might have been possible at ages 38-40? Zone was allowed starting that year with hand-checking tighter than today as one-legged, twilight MJ broke a few records that day.

Skin Care Author Wins Guinness World Record for Longest Wall Sit SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- Dr. Thienna Ho, founder of Thienna, Inc., a skin care company that focuses on health, is no stranger to setting world records. She is the current Guinness World Records' holder for the most sumo squats in one hour. And, on Saturday, December 20, she completed yet another world record - the longest wall sit. Dr. Thienna's record-setting time was 11 hours, 51 minutes, and 14 seconds; the event took place at World Team USA Gymnasium in San Francisco. The former Guinness World Records' holder for the longest wall sit was Rajkumar Chakraborty at 11 hours and five minutes; this record was set at Panposh Sports Hostel, Rourkela, India, on April 22, 1994. Dr. Thienna was inspired to set this record in honor of her mother, who passed away from dermatomyosis, an autoimmune disease, after three years of struggle. "My mother was confined to her bed for almost three years," Dr. Thienna says. "I remember her telling me that she would often dream of going outside to walk around. What better way to honor her memory than by dedicating a physical feat of this capacity to her?" Dr. Thienna explains that while the wall sit was a great physical challenge, the process of not being able to move for almost 12 hours was even greater. "I now have a better understanding of what my mother went through in the sense of being confined. I could not have been confined for three years like she was," Dr. Thienna says. During the record-setting experience, approximately seven hours into the wall sit, a few blisters appeared on Dr. Thienna's feet. The skin on her back also started to burn from moving up and down on the wall. All in all, she felt she was quite lucky and the pain was minimal. "Maybe I'm resistant to lactic-acid buildup; I don't know," she says, "but, I do know that I had no knee, joint or back pain." An hour away from breaking the record, Dr. Thienna explains that her body felt like it was falling asleep or even somewhat paralyzed from the waist down. "My mother was my inspiration and I could feel her cheering me on the whole time," Dr. Thienna adds. "I am so glad I was able to set this record and appreciate all the support I received from friends and family." She is currently awaiting official notification from Guinness World Records. About Dr. Thienna Dr. Thienna is the top expert in the area of skin care nutrition and human skin color. She is a seven time award-winning author of "Unlocking the Mystery of Skin Color." Her company, Thienna, Inc., is a one-of-a-kind, science-based developer, manufacturer, and marketer of the FAIRSKIN line of natural nutritional supplements and organic skin care products. In December 2007, Dr. Thienna was named the Guinness World Records' greatest super-sumo squatter; she achieved an incredible 5,135 of these muscle-burners in just one hour. Dr. Thienna is also scheduled to release "The Amazing Clear Skin Cookbook" during the first quarter of 2009. There's no zone like Michael's. At age 40, MJ's zone was visited less frequently but still, when it happened, there was just nothing like it in the world. With his knee surgically repaired the year before, one only wonders what really might have happened even at this age had it not been for that knee. ESPN thought MJ could have still led the league in scoring if not for the injury and should that have been the case, the Wiz probably would have made the playoffs which would then have opened the door to anything possible. In this game, MJ wanted to have a little statement for Richard Jefferson right before he retired. In truly MJ-like fashion, he once again summoned up a 60% shooting effort on call. With 7 straight FGs made in the 3rd quarter, MJ reversed Father Time and became the only player in history to break the 40 point barrier at age 40 and 4 days. With a barrage of silky perimeter shooting, MJ dominated from the outside with fades, step-back jumpers and in-your-face shots against Martin, Kidd, Jefferson and whoever. Which begs the question. If the Wizards had been contenders, would we have seen more efforts like these at age 40? Most likely and more. But regardless, this performance remains unchartered territory for anyone in history and may stand as one of his most unbreakable records.

The record is 4,079,381 Dominos. But yes, this IS the record, but what I'm saying is that there are MUCH more dominos than a million involved here. (Note: This is not the entire record. SUPPOSEDLY, the record lasted for just under 2 hours)
