Here is a famous song performed by the beautiful and talented Mitzi Gaynor. Mitzi Gaynor (born Francesca Marlene de Charney von Gerber in 1931 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American actress, singer, and dancer. She trained as a ballerina as a child and began her career as a chorus dancer. She sang, acted and danced in a number of film musicals, often paired with some of the biggest male musical stars. Notable early roles included "There's No Business Like Show Business" (1954) which featured Irving Berlin's music and also starred Ethel Merman, Marilyn Monroe, Donald O'Connor. "Les Girls" (1957, directed by George Cukor) with Gene Kelly and Kay Kendall and "Anything Goes" (1956), co-starring Bing Crosby, Donald O'Connor and Zizi Jeanmaire. Gaynor's biggest international fame came from her starring role in the film version of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II's "South Pacific", one of the most successful musicals of all time. For her performance, she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for best actress. She made films with many other well-known stars, including Ginger Rogers, Frank Sinatra, David Niven, Betty Grable and Oscar Levant. She made her last film in the early 1960's; one of her last films was the United Kingdom production "Surprise Package" (1960), a musical comedy thriller directed by Stanley Donen. Her co-stars were Yul Brynner and Noel Coward and the film had a theme song by Jimmy Van Heusen and Sammy Cahn. After her retirement from films, Gaynor remained a popular favorite; she often performed songs at Academy Awards ceremonies, starred in a series of high-rated TV specials, had a "This Is Your Life" special dedicated to her, and often appeared on television and in local theater. For several years, Mitzi Gaynor was a top Las Vegas attraction. During the 1990's, Gaynor also became a featured columnist for the influential newsmagazine The Hollywood Reporter. On October 14, 2006 the NY Alumni "adopted" Gaynor as an official New Yorker at Beverly Hills High School in California. The mayor issued a proclamation paying tribute to her distinguished career as a singer, dancer, actress and writer. Enjoy Mitzi's beauty and grace!

Dronica (pronounced DRONE-ICKA) is a two-piece improvised, experimental-noise-drone-rock project consisting of musician/artist Emma-O on guitar and effects and Cowboy Junkies' Jaroslaw Czerwinec on accordion. Strange, beautiful, trippy, sometimes abrasive, sometimes hypnotic, Dronica's music is like an abstract painting, challenging the listener to expand their perceptions of what music should be. There are no verses, there are no choruses, there are no rules. Taking from influences as varied as Jimi Hendrix, Syd Barrett, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Bob Marley, The Ramones and Black Sabbath, Dronica warps sound and feedback to a frequency never heard before. When Emma-O plugs in her guitar and Jaroslaw revs up the accordion, the beautiful noise that is released pierces the depths of consciousness and leaves the listener in a trance-like state. Creativity knows no boundaries, except those created by the human mind. Dronica steamrolls those boundaries with a wall of sound that can split the Earth, and people's ears. A guitar player and songwriter for 16 years, Emma-O has been playing in punk, rock, metal and experimental bands in Toronto and Ottawa since 1995. She most recently was the lead guitarist for the garage-punk-rock band The Johnnys (2006-2007), and the rhythm guitarist for the all-female pop-punk band Fidget (2006). Besides playing in various bands over the years and writing her own punk material, Emma-O has a solo project called The Gloom, where she performs all the instruments. Check out Emma-O's web site at http://www.emma-o.net . Jaroslaw Czerwinec has 50 years experience with the accordion under his belt, including 20 years spent touring the world and recording with The Cowboy Junkies. Besides playing every famous club and stadium around the world and hob-nobbing with the music industry's biggest stars, Jaroslaw has also performed on Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show, and has recorded professionally with Gord Downie (Tragically Hip) and Theresa Sokyrka (Canadian Idol finalist). In addition, he also records and performs his own music under the name Dronehead.

She's back, blowing kisses to her YouTube fans who campaigned for her dancing. Born in Fulton, Kentucky June 6, 1912, Emylyn Pique became known to Broadway audiences as Mitzi Mayfair. Her musical comedy credits include "Take A Chance," "The Show Is On," and "At Home Abroad," in which she replaced Eleanor Powell during Powell's illness. These scenes are from her second film, Tip Tap Toe, released in October 1932. She died in May, 1976 in Tucson, Arizona. Additional information is welcome. The first song heard (attic scene) is "Three's a Crowd" from the feature film of the same name. In the store window scene, the couple dances to two independant songs: (1) "Now You've Got Me Worryin' For You" and (2) "I Wish I Had Wings." Songwriters' names will be furnished on a need-to-know basis.
