Psalms, Hymns & Spiritual Songs, a McClurkin double-disc live worship celebration. Opening with Robin Mark's "Days of Elijah" and McClurkin's own "I Will Sing," a praise-and-worship motif sets the stage for later similar tracks like Michael W. Smith's "Agnus Dei" and the medley "Draw Me Close/I Am Thine Oh Lord." Backed by a 40-piece orchestra and a powerhouse choir, McClurkin closes the opening disc strongly in tandem with the legendary Richard Smallwood on the classic "Total Praise." The second disc is dedicated more to traditional gospel with tracks like "I Love To Praise Him" and "Jesus Medley." McClurkin livens up the fare with the "Language" medley, singing in English, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish, ending the string with Joann Rosario as they duet on "Saciame Senor Yo Se Que Estas Aqui."

His world was characterized by violence, alcoholism, and abuse, but young Donnie McClurkin found a safe haven in his church, Bethel Gospel Tabernacle, Assemblies of God. It was there, at the age of nine, when he made a commitment to Christ. Throughout his troubled youth, amidst the strife of daily life, he learned to stand on the promises in the scripture. "A man's gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men." (Prov 18:16) "I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it" (Rev. 3:8). Donnie was born, and raised in Amityville, New York. Because of a God-given gift of music that ran in his family, Donnie formed the McClurkin Singers with his siblings, and a few close friends in 1979. It wasn't long after that when Donnie began to feel a calling to preach. He went on to meet gospel-legend Andrae Crouch, who became a mentor to him. Through that relationship, grew a friendship that would shape the entire course of Donnie's future.

The second video I ever made! A music video to one of my favourite Passover-esque songs "I Am" by Donnie McClurkin. The video was made from footage from the movie The Prince of Egypt released by Dreamworks. Hope you like! Lyrics Verse 1 Come now and see this mystery. Remove your shoes, bow down, where you stand right now is holy ground. The fire burns, sit at my feet and learn, as I reveal my plan, and I tell you who I am. Chorus I Am, I Am, I'm the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I Am, I Am, and I've chosen you to set my people free; go now and set them free. Verse 2 Some will not hear, others will fear, because the enemy has said before I let them go I'd rather see them dead. But in that hour, I will reveal My power through you, so that all may see and when they ask you, tell them what you know of Me. Chorus Bridge I give you heaven's edge and I give you privilege, where others know My ways, I will come and speak with you I will always be with you Dont you fear Know that I will be right here Chorus *Yes, I know it says "Soundrack" that was a mistake. And one it'd take too much effort to fix...
