Fergie 1st video and single! LONDON BRIDGE! Enjoy it x)~ (oh snap version) Check out Fergie site: www.fergie.com

Cibelle & Devendra in Victorian garb dance on the roofs in this Mary Poppins-like illustration of the Caetano Veloso classic (as performed on Cibelle's album "The Shine Of Dried Electric Leaves") Directed by Tom Haines.

The video he made to Werewolves of London. 1978. Might I just add, does anyone else laugh when they see that werewolf? I think the beast is played by Jorge Calderon...

An interesting short film about the legality of taking photographs on the streets in the UK. There's a nice interaction between the photographer and a couple of Police Community Support Officers in Central London. For those who are unfimilar with CSO's, these are not Police Officers, though they are uniformed personnel working with the police in England and Wales. Their function it seems is: '...to provide a visible and reassuring presence on the streets and tackling the menace of anti-social behaviour.' You can draw your own conclusions on that! NB The bit about having to ask for permission before taking photographs in Railway Stations is somewhat misleading as you don't have to have prior permission - not at the moment anyway Link to a letter written by Home Office Minister Tony McNaulty confirming that there are no legal restrictions on taking photographs in public places: http://www.flickr.com/photos/asisawit/2473437441/ Here's a link to a recent Guardian article about terrorist not bothering to photograph their 'targets'. http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2008/jun/05/news.terrorism

The Burble is a massive structure reaching up towards the sky, composed of approximately 1000 extra-large helium balloons each of which contains microcontrollers and LEDs that create spectacular patterns of light across the surface of the structure. The public, both audience and performer, come together to control this immense rippling, glowing, bustling 'Burble' that sways in the evening sky, in response to movements of the long articulated interactive handle bar at the base of the structure. The ephemeral experience exists at such a large scale that it is able to compete visually in an urban context with the buildings that surround it. From the website: http://www.amateurtransplants.com/ The official video: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=UymKurTBdhw London Underground song by the comedy band Amateur Transplants (Dr. Adam Kay and Dr. Suman Biswas). LYRICS Some people might like to get a train to work Or drive in in a Beamer or a merc, Some guys like to travel in by bus, But I can't be bothered with the fuss today I'm going to take my bike, Coz once again the Tube's on strike. The greedy bastards want extra pay for sitting on their arse all day even though they earn 30K . So I'm standing here in the pouring rain, Where the fuck's my fucking train? London Underground London Underground They're all lazy fucking useless cunts London Underground London Underground They're all greedy cunts I want to shoot them all with a rifle. All they say is "Please mind the doors", and they learned that on the two day course, This job could be done by a four year old. They just leave us freezing in the cold. What you smell is what you get Burger King and piss and sweat You roast to death in the boiling heat, With tourists treading on your feet and chewing gum on every seat, so don't tell me to "Mind the gap" I want my fucking money back. London Underground London Underground They're all lazy fucking useless cunts London Underground London Underground They're all greedy cunts I want to shoot them all with a rifle LaLaLaLa LaLaLaLa The floors are sticky and the seats are damp, Every platform has a fucking tramp, But the drivers get the day off when we're all late for work again, London Underground London Underground WaWa Wankers , They're all Wankers , London Underground London Underground Take your Oystercard, and shove it up your arsehole.

I woke up today in London As the plane was touching down All I could think about was Monday Maybe I'd be back around If this keeps me away much longer I don't know what I will do Got to understand its a hard life, that I'm going through And when the night falls in around me And I don't think I'll make it through Use your light to guide the way All I think about is you L.A's gettin' kind of crazy New York's getting kind of cold I keep my head from getting lazy Just can't wait to get back home And all these days I spend away I'll make up for this I swear I need your love to hold me up When it's all too much to bear And when the night falls in around me I don't think I'll make it through Use your light to guide my way All I think about is you All these days I spend away I'll make up for this I swear I need your love to hold me up When it's all too much to bear And when the night falls in around me I don't think I'll make it through Use your light to guide the way All I think about is you

Bowling For Soup - turning bad songs into good, one cover at a time. ps. Since "What is Chris using to make that noise?" was a question I got more than I liked (haha), I asked Chris for you guys what he uses for the effect and he says it was a lighter he bought at a gas station for a dollar but it does the trick.

Add &fmt=18 to the end of the video's url for stereo sound and higher bitrate Featuring Elsa Esmeralda London Elektricity has become a byword for groundbreaking fast soul music, ramming venues, destroying drum & bass crowds, leaving huge smiles from the Big Chill to Glastonbury and beyond, London Elektricity Live has always been out of this world. The LE saga began way back in 96, and up until 2002 LE was a double-act. Tony Colman and Chris Goss made their mark in 98 with the epic Song In The Key Of Knife, and subsequent critically acclaimed debut album Pull The Plug. In 2002 Tony took on the project solo, as Chris concentrated on taking the NHS empire to the next level. With the release of Billion $ Gravy in 2003, phone calls from Fabio and Radio One requested a live session from Maida Vale - and lo, LONDON ELEKTRICITY LIVE was born. For 2 years between Gravy and 2005s album Power Ballads Tony and the Band have played over 150 gigs reaching a quarter of a million people with their Live Drum & Bass spectacular! With the release of Live at The Scala The band has come to a close for the time being, with hospital bringing through the new talent in 2006, expect LE to re-emerge soon with some dancefloor corkers and more fast soul classics!
