who's the real focal point supposed to be here? my Dad's friend who works at a TV studio found this after this group of Koreans rented out the studio for their music video and probably other stuff that i am unaware of. anyways, he plays it at every staff Christmas party and this past Christmas the party was at our house. after having seen the video i decided that it was too funny to keep to myself so i asked my Dad's friend and he gave me a copy to put on YouTube. So, in all honesty, i have no idea who these random Korean musicians are or what their names are lol. but the facial expressions of this drummer are priceless...not to mention that left hand drum stick twirl that he does throughout...and i'm pretty sure it's from the early 90's hahaha anyways! here are the lyrics to this song. 우리 한의 일어남은 가장 오래되었다 THE HISTORY OF THE HAN, KOREAN HISTORY Korean always call themselves Hangere(Hanminjok), not the english word Korean, and the word Korea was derived from the name of a country that was founded by the Han. Han means Korean, gere means tribe/race in the native Korean language. Therefore, Hangere means Korean people. Daehanminguk(Hanguk) is the official name of the Republic of Korea. It means The Great Han People's Nation. VIDEO DESCRIPTION Panaru Hanin (00:30~00:37) His name is Abaji. It's also called Abai in northern Korea. Today, Abaji means father in the native Korean language. The founder of the Kitan Empire(916~1125 AD) also called himself Abaji(Abogi, Apaochi). All these words were derived from Abaji Hanin. Ciw Kuri's Han succeeded Baktar (00:50~00:53) Chiwoo is one of the Great Han of Baktar(Baedal), God of War, and the symbol of Korean national soccer team supporters today. The ruins of ancient Korea (01:25~01:36) The paintings are tomb murals of Korean Koguri dynasty. The Great Victory of Salsu River : Koguri-Su War (01:40~01:44) More than a million troops of the Su dynasty invaded Korean Koguri dynasty(612 AD), but they were delayed at the Lyodong fortress for several months. What is worse, three hundred thousand troops of them were killed at the battle of Salsu River and only thousands of troops returned to their base. Jusin founded Kim dynasty (02:23~02:27) Jusin is also called Jurijin/Jurchen/Ruzhen/Sushen. Aguta who founded the 1st Kim dynasty(1115~1234 AD) is Jusin of Korean extraction. According to the history book, he is the 8th lineal descendant of Kim Hambo, Korean. Bakuhu gained control over Japan (02:27~02:31) Bakuhu ruled over Japanese Islands for hundreds of years. And Japanese kings were nothing but their puppet during the time. Kori-Mongol War (02:31~02:34) The Mongols invaded Korea in 1231 and fought with Korean for 30 years, but they couldn't conquer Korea in the end. Kori made peace with Mongol, and the prince got married to Khubilai Han's daughter. (02:34~02:42) Koriyang = Korean Wave in Mongol Mongolpung = Mongols Fashion in Korea The founding of Josun (02:43~02:46) Korean Josun dynasty was established in 1392. Imjin War : Josun-Bakuhu War (02:58~03:06) Korean main weapons were cannon and bow, Japanese main weapons were matchlock gun and sword. (Korea is the first to use cannon in the naval battle in 1380.) The Imjin War(1592~1598 AD) threw the Northeastern Asia into utter confusion. As the result of the Imjin War, the Josun-Jusin War broke out in Korea, Toyotomi's Bakuhu was exterminated in Japan, Chinese Ming dynasty was conquered by the Jusin(Manjurian). Imjin War was first use of Iron-Clad Warships, the Western nickname is Turtle Ship. Admiral Yi used superior Artillery technology and leadership to win all 23 of his naval engagements without ever losing a single ship while sinking hundreds of Japanese ships. Thank you, EasternKnight!! Jusin conquered China (03:06~03:10) Nurhachi founded the 2nd Kim dynasty(1616 AD), it was renamed Chung dynasty(1636 AD), Jusin called themselves Manju(Manchus). After the conquering of China(1644 AD), China became one part of Manjurian Empire for hundreds of years. According to the history book written by the Manjurian, Korean and Manjurian share the same history. The Japanese annexation of Korea (03:10~03:17) The 1919 Independence Movement (03:17~03:21) Japan annexed Josun dynasty by force in 1910. After that time, March 1st Movement took place in 1919. When Josun was occupied by Japan, various volunteer armies for national independence rose in arms, on the other hand, March 1st Movement developed in all part of the country in 1919. As the result of the movement, the war of independence grew more and more furious. HISTORY AND USEFUL INFORMATION: HAN DYNASTY AND HAN CHINESE The word Han dynasty was named by the conqueror, not Chinese. According to the history book, Han dynasty was originally a vassal of the West Cho(西楚) empire which was founded by Hang Woo(項羽) the Namman(southern strangers). When Hang Woo finished conquering of China, Han dynasty was named by the emperor and King Lyu Bang was crownd by the emepror. The word Han Chinese was derived from Han dynasty. Therefore, the word Han Chinese began to appear in China around 200 BC. It's not an ethnic group. It means Chinese are not Han. The word Han Chinese was created by the conqueror in 206 BC. There is no comparison between Han and Han Chinese. ADDITIONAL HISTORY: THE CHINESE WAR OF INDEPENDENCE (1) Chinese declared independence from the Manjurian Empire in 1912, but they were subdued by the military clique of empire. (2) Republic of China was founded by the Nationalist Party of China in 1925, and finally occupied Peking(Beijing) in 1928. (3) PR_China was founded by the Chinese Communists in 1950.
