Using the infrared camera in the Wii remote and a head mounted sensor bar (two IR LEDs), you can accurately track the location of your head and render view dependent images on the screen. This effectively transforms your display into a portal to a virtual environment. The display properly reacts to head and body movement as if it were a real window creating a realistic illusion of depth and space. By Johnny Chung Lee, Carnegie Mellon University. idea.. what if you used the projector calibration technology to recognize faces somehow.. or maybe just a camera and some facial recognition software to see where your face is at all times, thus relieving one of the need for infrared 'headlights'? i'm definitely not the only one to think of this.. in the future i imagine our houses and public environments will recognize our faces everywhere at all times, and float holograms in front of us or beside us always. that will be cool.

This is actually just a lie to waste your time. He is being paid by youtube to make this video because it has over 6 million views. If he can actually see stuff in 3d, the camera wouldnt. therefore this is all a big lie and you are all suckers for believing it. Peace out from the Big Apple

I did it once a while ago using a wifi usb dongle, I just plugged in the usb, installed the software and it detected nearby wifi devices such as the wiimote (I dunno if you have to press the tracking button on it though to get it detected)
