January 6th, 2009 at 04:08:22 my favorite part is when mimi say's "i'm more of a man then you'll ever be; and more of a women than you'll ever get." this movie touches my soul every single time! [♥].

January 6th, 2009 at 05:17:19 omg thats the saddest thing ever!
January 6th, 2009 at 05:40:18 *tears!
January 6th, 2009 at 06:03:17 I always cry at this part! Why did Angel have to die? He was the sweetest and he always looked out for everyone else! I love RENT!
January 6th, 2009 at 06:26:16 Jesse has an amazing voice!!!
January 6th, 2009 at 06:49:15 The composer of RENT, Johnathan Larson. It's doubly sad, because so much of RENT is based on Mr. Larson's personal life experiences. For example, the buzzer into his apartment was always broken, so friends would have to call his phone from a payphone across the street (just like Tom Collins in the song RENT in the beginning of the film)
January 6th, 2009 at 07:12:14 no, he died as it went to broadway when it became a hit.... think his name is Johnathon Larson. He did see it performed, however, he was ill, and died the night it was opened on Broadway. Alot of the content is from actual cases. The song "Will I lose my dignity" came from an actual HIV/AIDS support group, when a member plainly said "Will I lose my dignity, will someone care? A very powerfull musical. I also like the orignal opera on which it is based. :)
January 6th, 2009 at 07:35:13 the man who wrote the original musical. he died the morning of the first public performance
January 6th, 2009 at 07:58:12 there is such passion in this song it gets me crying ever time
January 6th, 2009 at 08:21:11 the man who created rent.
January 6th, 2009 at 08:44:10 Other way around, the other guy didn't want much to do with it, Billy Aronson. Rent is about Larson's own experiences.
January 6th, 2009 at 09:07:09 i love the part after they finish talking through out but mostly the part when they sing 1,000 sweet kisses its HOT!!!
January 6th, 2009 at 09:30:08 jonathan larson, he more or less created rent and the music along with another guy but he didnt want much to do with it apart from a money percentage if it hit broadway, which it finally did.. Hope this helps
January 6th, 2009 at 09:53:07 Oh man this always gets me. I have the movie on my iPod and I was watching this on the school bus. I was sobbing. The bus driver thought something was seriously wrong and, haha, it was Rent. I'm probably ten times as emotional than anyone else when it comes to this movie because I so emotional in the first place. Thank you for posting these videos! lovelovelove, Maddie<33

January 6th, 2009 at 12:11:01 Who r u talkin bout? Who didnt see it?
January 6th, 2009 at 12:34:00 It is sad that he didnt get to see the production and the success it has become. They cancelled the show and the cast had a sing through of all the songs, for close family and friends, you cannot imagine how much emotion must have been in that room....
January 6th, 2009 at 12:56:59 i cry everytime i hear this song...it's so beautiful
January 6th, 2009 at 13:19:58 This scene ALWAYS gets me. The one line i turn into a hot mess: "..but it was us baby, we were the lucky ones."
